Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026River View respects your privacy and uses your data only to answer requests, manage bookings and orders, keep the site secure and meet applicable obligations.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
Name, email address, phone number, requested experience, date, group size, message and, for merchandise orders, delivery address and landmarks. For restoration requests, we also collect the stated boat type, dimensions, location and condition. For advertising inquiries, we collect the business name, category and submitted proposal. We do not store card numbers or banking details.
3. How we use it
To answer questions, check availability, prepare bookings, orders or restoration quotes, assess advertising proposals, send confirmations, coordinate payments and delivery, prevent form abuse and keep a basic commercial history.
4. Consent
Forms require express acceptance of this policy. We store the accepted policy version and consent date. You may withdraw consent for future use by emailing us.
5. Providers and transfers
We use hosting, database and transactional email providers, including Resend. Information may be processed outside Costa Rica only to provide these services and under reasonable security measures. We do not sell personal databases.
6. Retention
Request records are kept for up to 24 months and are automatically deleted when that period expires. Records connected to completed transactions may be retained longer when commercial, accounting or legal obligations require it.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, updating or deletion of your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@riverview.tours. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
8. Security
We use restricted access, encrypted communications and protected storage. No system is infallible; if a relevant incident occurs, we will act according to applicable obligations.
9. Cookies and advertising
The site uses strictly necessary storage to remember preferences. Optional advertising, analytics or measurement will not load without consent. Direct sponsorship placements are clearly identified as advertising and may operate without tracking.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or applicable requirements change. The update date and a new consent version will be shown when a change is material.
